Hi, my name is Sarah! 👋🏻 I have several years experience, babysitting from newborn-elementary aged. I have ample experience with all age groups though, as I am a substitute teacher PK-12 during the school year. I’m currently taking a break from classes but I am working on finishing my degree in Education here at ENMU Since I work as substitute teacher during the school year, I’m currently looking for summer opportunities. Also possibly into the school year starting in the fall, depending on schedule and availability. Im open to a variety of job types Baby sitting, tutoring, nannying-especially during the summer break. (I know it’s hard when school lets out, and as parents our jobs must go on) I really enjoy being around the littles. I have a 5 year old myself and I know how important it is to have someone you and your kid both trust and connect Read more with, I have been lucky to have people who love my kiddo like their own, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing your baby is being taken care of is so priceless. I think the best item in my toolbox when caring for kiddos is structure. Whether it be in the classroom, home, or when babysitting. Structure and routines are important for them and their learning and even self regulation. Lastly communication is VERY important as a carer for children but especially as a parent who has to be away from their kiddos. Something I pride myself on is thorough and consistent communication with you as parents while your children are in my care. Even if that looks like a daily debriefing-so you’re still in the loop, yet not to disrupt you while you’re away. Genuinely excited and look forward to the opportunities this may bring! 🤗☀️
