I first decided to babysit because I love working with the young children at my job. For the past 2-3 years I have babysat a toddler regularly and I also transport him between his parents' homes and sometimes daycare. I cook meals for him, play with him, and now I help with toilet training. I am a therapist who works with kids from ages 4 to 17. I currently work a lot with high behavior children who struggle with their mental health. Some of the behaviors I work with are verbal and physical aggression such as screaming, cussing, throwing objects, hitting, kicking, ect. I have previously worked with people with intellectual and physical disabilities who also had high behaviors. This job was with adults and children who needed assistance changing briefs (adult diapers), bathing, and feeding. I also engaged the individuals with activities that were appropriatefor their age, physical ability, Read more and intellectual abilities. I did this job for about 4 to 5 years while in college. I have a Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work. I am certified in CPR and first aid. I have reliable transportation.
