I’m Amy and I’ve raised 3 children of my own! I have nannied for 5 different families for the past 11 years. I am CPR certified and I have experience with pets as well! I have my degree from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Elementary Education. I have a current teaching certification. I have a ton of experience with meal prep and laundry as well! I will clean up and run errands or zip the kids around in my car or yours. I am very active and extremely energetic and I bring that energy into the house. Running around and playing with the kids is what I love to do. I don’t sit back and watch. I actually step in and get my hands dirty. That’s the best part! I also have been the house manager for 2 of my families and feel very comfortable in that role. Read more Let me help you to make your life so much easier! I am definitely open for babysitting as well. Nights and weekends are available!

Our family hired Amy to care for our infant from January 2026 through May 2026, when our baby was approximately 4–8 months old. From her very first day, Amy was calm, capable, and attentive, and she quickly became a trusted part of our daily routine. Amy has excellent infant-care skills and strong knowledge of age-appropriate development. She spent time on the floor engaging our baby with purposeful play, consistently encouraging tummy time and early milestones in a way that was both fun and supportive. She read our baby’s cues well, adjusted activities thoughtfully, and always prioritized a soothing, secure environment. She was also wonderful at getting our baby down for naps—patient, gentle, and consistent—helping maintain healthy sleep habits and keeping the day on schedule. As my husband and I both work from home, Amy communicated clearly with us throughout the day about naps, feeds, mood, and developmental progress, and she was always receptive to our preferences and any updates to routines. Amy is punctual, reliable, and professional, and we consistently felt that our child was safe, cared for, and genuinely loved in her hands. In addition to outstanding childcare, Amy showed initiative in helping our household run smoothly. She proactively tidied play areas, kept our home clean, and offered help with housework without needing direction. Amy is warm, responsible, and highly competent, and I recommend her without hesitation to any family seeking a nanny they can fully trust. She would be an excellent caregiver for infants and young children, and any household would be fortunate to have her!
