I am an honest, caring, responsible, trustworthy and easy going 55 year-old married woman who moved from Spain to NJ in December of 2011. I come from a big family (I am the youngest of 8 siblings!) and I grew up with small kids always around me (nephews, nieces and neighbors). My work experience there was basically Clerk & Accounting work, since I have a degree in Accountancy but, once I moved to the US, I decided to be a Nanny over any other profession thanks to my great experience in the past, not only in Spain but also when I moved to Ireland for 6 months in 2004 to improve my English. Once there, I worked with 2 families taking care of their 8 month-old baby boys. It was a wonderful experience that I still cherish today. During my first 5 years here I took care of 2 brothers Read more since they were babies and I can honestly say that I loved it (and love them!) and I feel so privileged to witness what two wonderful boys they became! Since then, I was lucky to take care of infants in a Day Care and work with 4 different families. My goal as a Nanny is to care, nurture, teach, bring some fun and also keep children’s natural curiosity for everything around them alive. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I think they would be kind, compassionate and looking for a trustworthy and nurturing person, who is going to teach and care for their children as if they were my own. I am willing to help with different tasks, like driving the kids, doing grocery shopping, laundry, light housekeeping and light meal related to the children. I renewed my Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification last June and I have a clean driving record, my own car and I am a non-smoker person.
