Howdy! My name is Brianna, and I am a 23-year-old San Antonio area local! I am a newlywed as of April and am looking for something to cure my post wedding baby-fever, which is why I am so happy that my family has recently welcomed two beautiful babies via my brother and sister. Below you will find a little more information about me as a caregiver. Since I became an aunt at 8 years old I have loved working with kids, and have an extensive childcare background. From babysitting throughout high school to working as a babysitter and nanny this past year, I have had great experiences with the families I have worked with. I graduated from UT Austin in 2023 with a bachelors in Deaf education and a minor in American Sign Language. During my time in college I focused intently on child development, especially in language and social/emotional Read more learning. These experiences were both through curriculum and hands on experience as an intern at Texas School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. There I was able to be a part of both a Preschool and Elementary STEM program. Since relocating to San Antonio I have also been able to work as a kindergarten/special education teacher at a local San Antonio charter! From my experience in the childcare, education, and food service industries I am a well rounded childcare provider! I worked in a professional setting for almost two years with kiddos ranging from 6 weeks - 6 years. I specialized in infant/toddler care during my time at the child development center, and was able to see so many children grow into fun-loving toddlers! I am adult, pediatric, and infant CPR/AED/First Aid trained not to mention that I also currently have an EvenFlo Pivot stroller and car seat, so I would not need one from you (if necessary) unless you have a preferred brand! Not to mention that as a former professional kitchen worker, I have a Food Handler’s certification as well, so I would be more than happy to help with baby-led weaning if you are interested.
