For most of my employment life I have worked in retail, however my true desire in life is to care for and nurture children. I do have babysitting and child care experience from my early teens as well as my adult life taking care of family and the children of past family friends. I spent a few months last year caring for my three cousins ages 8-14, picking them up from school, preparing meals, planning fun activities and helping them with homework when it was needed while their mother worked at her own job all while maintaining my current job position that I am looking to let go of for good. I can multi-task and I take child specifications very seriously. For example my oldest cousin is a pescetarian, meaning she only eats seafood so I would have special meal plans in place for her so that all the kids Read more got what they wanted/needed at meal time. I can be a very fun loving person, but I also take rule enforcement to heart as well, even in my own home when I had them in my care. I am a very open minded, respectful individual and I love to connect with kids, form bonds and trust between myself, them and the parents. I do not have CPR certification as of yet but it is something I am actively working to obtain, however I do have my own vehicle for transportation.
