Growing up I spent every summer with my grandparents. My Grandma in particular made my summer so so much fun. From bringing us to swimming lessons, to community weekday events for kids, to picnics in the park, to teaching me to bake, cook and garden, along with doing hundreds of different crafts over the years. I was in 4-H growing up, so summer was the time to create projects. She was so supportive and helpful when I would have questions or would need guidance. She was always able to help us make our ideas come to life... and she truly enjoyed it. This is the kind of expirence I want to give to someone else. I am very energetic and patient. I love going on little adventures wether it be a trip to the beach, a picnic at the park or a little walk on a trail. I promise to Read more keep your kids active and engaged. I am comfortable around animals as well. While I don’t have a lot of experience in child care I do have a nephew (3.5 years) and niece (1.5 years) who I spend a lot of time with and I adore. But, I also had my Grandma, a fantastic example of what I want to be for someone else. I am in the process of getting first aid and CPR certified and it will be complete before summer.
