Hi there! My name is Rose and I’m a mother to a wonderful 3 year old girl. I’m the oldest of 5 children and took care of my 4 siblings (2 of them were twins) while my single mom worked. I went on to become the neighborhood babysitter. I played sports (lacrosse, soccer, dance, track/field, and cheer) and tutored in many subjects in high school, including math, AP biology, and AP French. Although English is my first language, I am also fluent in French and Spanish. Then, I attended The University of New Hampshire and graduated with my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biotechnology with a pre-medical concentration. After working as a cancer research scientist for 2 years, I had my amazing daughter and moved down south with her, my husband, and our big red dog, Nooby-Doo. I’ve been a stay-at-home mom since my daughter was born but would adore Read more getting back to caring for other kiddos while I have her with me as my “tag-along”. It would be heart-warming if she could play with my nanny kids and make some friends! My nannying style is very similar to my parenting style. I raised my daughter using the Montessori method as well as positive discipline. I make sure every child in my care feels safe enough to express their feelings in a healthy way. Children learn best through play and positive role models, and it is my goal to help them become the best versions of themselves while creating a space for laughter, imagination, and wonder. Some of my hobbies include: cooking, reading, gardening, biking, swimming, playing board games, soccer, pickleball, hiking, and exploring new places with my amazing family.
