My name is Adrienne and I started wanting to watch kids when I was just a kid myself. Being the oldest of four and 16 years older than my youngest sibling, I started taking care of kids at a very young age. Babysitting has been a passion of mine since before I can remember. I have babysat for numerous families with kids ranging from newborn through middle school. I have watched children for full weeks while parents are away and the for the quick evening date. I was a children's pastor for 2 years. In this role I was in charge of watching and teaching a group of 30-40 children once a week for 3 hours. Many times I would do this alone as my volunteers would be out. I served in an orphanage in Kenya for 4 months total. In that time I was an aid for over 80 Read more children from newborn-19 year olds. There was a span of two weeks when the workers were sick where I alone was in charge of constantly watching 8 infants under the age of 6 months old. This included feeding them, bathing them, putting them to sleep, and sleeping in the room to feed two of the younger babies in the middle of the night. To say the least I absolutely love and miss each and everyone of those children dearly. I went back to help for 1 month 2 years ago. I am recently CPR certified and react well under pressure and any serious incident. I truly enjoy my time spent with children. There is so much to learn from children and I do just that each time I'm around them. I write songs, play house, learn dances, make up shows, arts and crafts, sidewalk chalk, go on random adventures, and really anything they want to do. I would say I can play like a kid and take charge as the adult when needed well. Overall I simply love to care for children!
