Hi! I'm Sidney. I'm a junior at UT, and I'm looking for a chance to spend time with some sweet kids and make some money when I'm not in class. (This means I'll only be able to commit through the end of the semester, and I'll need some flexibility surrounding holidays and breaks.) I've been a babysitter and summer camp counselor on and off for years, and working with kids has always been my favorite job. I actually volunteer at my church VBS every summer because I love working with kids so much. As an experienced camp counselor, I am comfortable caring for multiple kids at once, and I have lots of experience with entertaining and caring for high energy and special needs kids. I've been told by fellow camp counselors and camp supervisors that I'm good at commanding a room, and I know how to get a group of Read more kids to listen while still being viewed as fun and caring. I'm an older sibling, and I've been babysitting/working with kids since middle school, and I've been a summer camp counselor since high school. I have experience tutoring, including kids with learning disabilities/special needs, so I'm always happy to provide homework help. Everyone learns differently, so I love helping children actually understand what they're being taught in school! I'm trained in first aid and CPR, and I have my own car and am comfortable driving with kids. I can cook, clean, do dishes, help with laundry, etc. I'm good with routines, and I'll enforce house rules. I stay off my phone as much as possible when I'm with kids, and I'm happy to enforce any screen time rules you keep in your house. If you need references, I'm happy to provide them!
