I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and helping them learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. Every child is unique, and I find it really rewarding to connect with them and make their day a little brighter. As a psychology major hoping to work with children in the future, babysitting gives me a chance to gain hands-on experience and build meaningful relationships with kids and families. I’ve been paid to take care of my nephew for several years, which has given me a lot of real-world experience with everything from daily routines to creative play and helping with schoolwork. I’ve also spent a lot of time caring for my younger brother, often being responsible for meals, homework help, and bedtime routines.
