I am currently a college student at Baruch studying business, in hopes to start my own clothing line. In my free time I love to make different pieces of clothing, playing tennis, and travel. I am fluent in English and French, and have limited working proficiency in Spanish. I have been babysitting an energetic and loving 7 year old for 3 years now. I am responsible for making sure that she is well taken care of while parents are away and engaging her in fun activities that keep her interested throughout the day. While playing with her I am also responsible for passing on to her valuable principles that she could use for a lifetime. In the past, I have traveled with the family when they had obligations that were out of town. In addition to babysitting, I have also tutored children aged from 9 to 15 in subjects like Read more mathematics and helped with various homework problems they had. A couple years ago, I volunteered to hold a small class to teach the basics of English to local children in my town in France. I am also certified in CPR/AED as I have also lifeguarded for 2 years. Because I love helping others, babysitting has been a fulfilling experience for me where I am able to interact with children, and the family that I work with has truly made me feel like part of the family.
