Hello, families! I have experience caring for children ranging from toddlers to teenagers in both private family settings and structured group environments. For the past two years, I have worked as a youth supervisor at an annual family camp, where I help oversee children in a daycare setting. In this role, I supervise groups of 7ā9 children between the ages of 4 and 7 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, maintaining a safe, engaging, and supportive environment throughout the day. My responsibilities include planning and leading indoor and outdoor activities, such as arts and crafts, games, reading, storytelling, and songs, as well as managing daily routines, including naps, potty breaks, and snack and meal preparation. Alongside my camp experience, I currently provide part-time care for a 1.5-year-old toddler, allowing me to gain additional hands-on experience supporting the developmental needs and daily routines of younger children. My background in childcare extends Read more beyond these roles. Growing up in a large family with seven siblings has given me firsthand familiarity with the dynamics of a busy household and the importance of patience, flexibility, and cooperation. I have also spent many years providing occasional childcare for friends and relatives, gaining experience caring for children in a variety of family settings and adapting to different household routines and needs. I am CPR, First Aid, and AED certified through the American Red Cross. I also have reliable transportation and am comfortable working in pet-friendly homes. I am currently committed to a regular part-time nanny position on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, making me available for additional childcare opportunities on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends. My availability may vary by day, so Iām happy to discuss specific scheduling needs with families.
