Hi! I am a graduate student at UIC and have found myself with the extra time and energy to continue working with kids. I have 10 years of childcare experience, and have several nannying positions as well as being a regular date night sitter or anything inbetween. I am comfortable with children of all ages and have some experience with children with disabilities that can be discussed further. When I was in Birmingham AL for school for 3 years I was an ACT tutor and test prep tutor with a company and worked with kids 10+ years old one on one. I also used a babysitting app exclusive to birmingham called “Wyndy” where I babysat for at least 30 different families through out the years and have several pre-made reviews I can show you. I am the oldest of 7 as well so besides having professional experience with children, I Read more really love just working with kids and engaging with them. I love going outdoors, to museums, etc, but also know how to entertain at home. I love supporting skill development and important developmental milestones. I pride myself on making sure kids feel as understood and respected as possible and can redirect children with out talking down to them.
