Hi there, my name is Madison Lancaster. I'm currently studying to become a labor and delivery nurse, so caring for children and supporting families is something I’m deeply passionate about. I love being a sitter because working with kids brings me so much joy. Their energy, curiosity, and unique personalities always brighten my day. Babysitting gives me the opportunity to connect with kids, help them learn and grow, and be a positive part of their daily lives. I’ve had several babysitting opportunities with both family and friends over the years. These experiences have involved caring for kids of different ages, from infants to elementary school-aged children. I’ve helped with everything from meal times and homework to bedtime routines and playtime. Each experience has helped me develop patience, creativity, and strong communication skills with both kids and their parents. As part of my nursing program, I’m required to complete regular First Read more Aid and CPR training, so I’m confident in handling emergencies calmly and effectively. I’ve also learned important skills like time management, active listening, and understanding developmental milestones through my studies and hands-on experience. My background in healthcare, combined with my love for kids, helps me provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care as a sitter.

Maddie was extremely responsive and incredible throughout our experience. She was prompt in responding to my inquiries, setting up an interview, and providing references. While working with our 2 young children, she was engaged, involved, and a lot of fun. Our daughters are normally very hesitant with new people, but Maddie made them at ease - sitting down and playing with them right away. I love that she didn't need to use screen time to keep them engaged. She also very capably handled bed time routine on her own. She was responsible and we felt very comfortable with her in our home. We've loved her support and look forward to working with her again.
