Why do you love being a sitter? - I love being a sitter because I’m passionate about supporting children's growth and development. I’m currently earning my degree in Early Childhood Education, so every opportunity to care for and engage with children reinforces why I chose this field. Sitting allows me to build meaningful connections with kids and families outside the classroom and offer consistent, nurturing care that aligns with developmental best practices. What experience do you have? - I work full-time as a substitute teacher during the school year, primarily with early childhood and elementary-aged children. This role has given me hands-on experience managing classrooms, adapting to different routines, and working with diverse learning and behavioral needs. Outside of school, I’ve also done babysitting for families in my community, providing after-school care, meal prep, homework help, and bedtime routines. I am also currently getting my certifications, like CPR and First Aid. In both my substitute teaching and sitting roles, I’ve developed strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. I’m dependable, patient, and always focused on creating a positive and supportive space for children to thrive.
