Greetings! I'm a native Californian, who was both a working mom and a stay at home mom. I did school activities, all of the sports, booster club - even started a cheerleading organization for my daughters that operated for years. After owning a small construction co, I opted to do some freelance marketing and to write a novel. This allowed me to be present for my kids throughout their scholastic and extra curricular adventures. I had to learn to juggle work and the various household needs, in addition to being attentive to their health, social and educational needs. Creative ways to learn, have fun, and get things done. They've all moved out or onto college and I've found myself with an empty nest, not even a pet. And while I have the opportunity to continue with my freelance automotive marketing, and book promotion...so I've been volunteering.
