I am a 20-year old undergraduate at Michigan state. I am about to graduate in the spring, obtaining my Bachelor of Sciences in Human Biology. I planned out my college to graduate in 3 years instead of 4. I want to use my knowledge and experience I carry along the way to not only help others, but bring out the best in them. I have always enjoyed working with children and helping others feel safe, supported, and cared for. Along with my caregiving experience, I have spent time caring for my younger cousins and have helped look after an autistic child, which taught me how to adapt to different personalities, routines, and individual needs. These experiences have strengthened my patience, communication, and problem-solving skills while showing me the importance of creating a positive and trusting environment. I am responsible, dependable, and organized, and I always strive to make sure children Read more feel comfortable while giving parents peace of mind. Whether it's helping with homework, preparing simple meals, keeping kids engaged with fun activities, or following established routines, I always put safety and compassion first. During my first year of college, I gained my first experience in healthcare through caregiving. This role taught me how important it is to have patience and to build a connection with the person you are taking care of face-to-face. Being given this experience was amazing and I hope to be in more roles like this. I am very passionate about healthcare and I want to be able to make a difference in this world no matter the impact.
