Hi there, my name is Lizeth. I'm a 21 year old undergrad student who loves caring for kids. While I am new to professional childcare, tending to children is something I have had long experience with. I had volunteered to a babysitting program during high school and absolutely adored it. I would help them with their school work, teach them life lessons such as cooking and cleaning, provide meals, and help release any pent up energy they may have in creative ways, amongst many other things. I also helped in general childcare outside of the program for relatives and neighbors alike. Babysitting, to me at least, isn't just about watching children but connecting with them and understanding them and their needs. Kids are individuals who you need to get to know personally before you are truly capable of helping them so that they can eventually help themselves. It's also about Read more being a support for the entire family. From helping in order to give rest for the parents to just simple reassurance in knowing that their child is safe while they are away. It takes a village to raise a child after all. I have CPR training as I once was a life guard and swim instructor, as well as being bilingual.
