My grandma ran an in-home daycare for 47 years. I would help her with the kids when I came by. I also babysat for a family back in my hometown for 2 years. They had a 9-year-old and a 5-year-old. During my time babysitting for this family, I developed skills such as meal prepping and making dinner, bathing the kids, putting them to bed while reading a bedtime story, taking the kids to parks, etc. I love being a sitter because I enjoy working with kids, and I am working towards my goal of becoming a Pediatric Nurse. I am CPR and First Aid certified, as I was a lifeguard for 3 years.
