I have volunteered at my church's nursery for about 4 years and have grown to love caring for children. Being able to watch them learn thing about themselves and become their own person is so special and such a unique milestone that I help to provide. I want to better learn how to care for children in more roles than I did at my church and love to help provide assistance within the house. I can meal prep (if shared foods their children like), run errands, do laundry, etc. I also love being outside and going to parks and on walks will be a must if that's okay with the parents. I'm currently a full-time student but have pretty good flexibility within my schedule as I just got done with an internship at the VA State Capitol! I look forward to any opportunity I get!
