Hello, my name is Brittany. The struggle of finding the balance between parenting and working is no easy feat! I am a reliable and sweet nanny located in Palatine, Illinois. Children have always been a large part of my professional background. I graduated with honors from Northeastern Illinois University with a degree in Psychology and a concentration in Abnormal Psych and Child Development. My past experience includes working in the children's literature section of the Park Ridge Public Library running and coordinating activities and programs such as the Reading Patch club. I have worked in the service industry for 15 years at Red Robin. I've dealt with every picky eater you can imagine. Sick kids. And every allergy. I am currently an ABA therapist specialized in the care and behavior plan implementation of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ranging from ages 2 to 10 years old with varying degrees of self-injurious maladaptive behaviors. My client responsibilities include food toleration, nail clipping toleration, hair cut toleration, skill acquisition, functional communication training, natural environment teaching, social skill development, implementing nervous system regulation techniques, fine motor skill development activities, potty training, and ASL Level 1 teaching. I am excited to help ease your stress in any way I can while creating a fun and safe environment for your little ones. I offer full-time and part-time live-out nanny services, and I charge $25.00 hourly.
