Hi! I’m a college student studying Psychology, and I love working with kids and helping them feel safe, comfortable, and supported. I have several years of experience working with children, including children with special needs. In high school, I worked with the special education program about 5 hours a week, where I worked one-on-one with students and helped lead larger groups. I have also volunteered with Special Olympics for several years, working with children and young people with different abilities. These experiences have made me comfortable working with children who have different needs, including nonverbal children and children who may need additional behavioral or communication support. I’m patient, responsible, caring, and enjoy doing activities with kids while helping them learn and grow. I’m currently studying Psychology and am especially interested in working with children with disabilities. I’m also interested in completing my RBT training in the future.
