Hi! My name is Jahmeria, and I’m a 22-year-old former college student from the illustrious Alabama A&M University. I have a genuine love for children and years of hands-on experience caring for my nieces and nephews, who range in age from 6 months to 13 years old. I’ve helped raise and support them throughout their lives, including assisting one of my nephews who has Pompe disease, which has taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to provide specialized, compassionate care. In addition to caring for my family, I currently work at a group home supporting young adults and elders with autism and depression. This experience has strengthened my ability to create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment while being understanding of different emotional and developmental needs.
