Dear Family! I have more than 20 years of experience to help families to raise their children and managing their household. My role as a nanny usually changes as the kids are growing and the family needs are changing, but I don’t mind that at all. I love to be busy and do errands too. (grocery shopping, dropping of dry cleaning, etc) I took care of babies, twins too!- toddlers and school aged children. I helped first time parents many times, to enjoy and not be stressed about this amazing journey that ahead of them. As I noticed, kids feel safer and happier when they know what will happen next, so I try to keep a daily routine that works for the whole family. I’m very pro-active and energetic, so I engage children with fun activities such as building, drawing, learning rhymes, puzzles, etc. I think , it’s very important Read more to be outside every day, (of course, these days following all the recommendations! ), it still can be fun and joyful! As kids get older, I make sure, books are parts of their daily life. They/we can learn a lot but most importantly, their imaginations can fly! I avoid any kind of screens for the children, there are a lots of other things to do! I think, they also have enough of it, if they already learning online. I’m patient and courage the children to try out new things :balancing on a bar or taste broccoli! I let them explore the world as long they are safe. As cooking goes, I am an great cook , I always prepared nutritious, healthy food for the kids and sometimes the whole family. In my free time I read books and also I keep up with the current issues of the World and I run. I am very punctual and flexible but I need to have steady hours, so I can arrange everything around it. References upon request. (They are from Brooklyn. ) Have a wonderful day! Rena

Rena has been caring for our 14 month-old daughter, Isabelle, since she was 7 months old. Isabelle absolutely adores her and is never upset (sadly) when we have to leave for work. Rena takes her to the playground, library and the park every day. She prepares her meals (makes baby food from scratch that is healthy and delicious) and does her laundry. She spends a lot of time playing on the floor and teaching Isabelle words and colors. She takes a TON of pictures and sends them to me regularly so I am not missing out on anything. We chose Rena over the other nannies we interviewed because we could tell she takes her job as a care giver very seriously and truly cares for the child. This is not just a job - she is dedicated to the family and child that she ends up with. We are sad to be moving out of Brooklyn and losing her!
