My name is Rachel Braund and I am a Purdue Graduate that is currently in my 4th year of teaching. My degree will be in Family and Consumer Science Education (formally known as Home Economics) therefore I am passionate about making the home life the best it can be. I have been passionate about children my whole life, I have always been naturally good with children. I have worked in a daycare for 3 years and an overnight summer camp for 2 summers. While working at the daycare I was often responsible for the safety and well-being of 10+ children. My first summer at the camp I taught swim and lived with 4th grader students. My second summer I taught cooking and lived with 7th grade students. Each cabin had between 9-12 students. My knowledge for the development of children is a combination of experience and schooling. I have my Read more CPR, First Aid, and WSI swim certification. I have worked at a water park for one summer and taught swim lessons at the summer camp for one summer. I also have been trained through SafeBabies sleep training. I have babysat for many different families and have always been very successful adapting to the different parenting schedules and requests. I am confident that your child/ children will be safe and happy with me.
