I love being a sitter because I enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and feel safe in a positive environment. I’m currently in school to become a high school math teacher, so working with children is something I’m truly passionate about, and babysitting helps me gain real experience as I prepare to go into teaching. I also used to help babysit at my aunt’s daycare, where I really enjoyed working with the kids and building strong connections with them. In addition, I have experience working with people through doing hair, which has helped me build patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to make others feel comfortable. I’m responsible, attentive, and good at following directions, and I always aim to create a safe, caring, and engaging space for kids.
