My name is Katheryn, but I prefer to go by Katie. I am a mother to a fiesty 2 year old. I'm an aunt to 15 kids. From 2019-2021 I was a co-teacher at a local academy. I specialized in children 2-3 years old, then specialized in children 4-5 years old. I was then a nanny from 2021-2022. Currently I work as a manager at a group home with adults who have autism and can't live independently. I love focusing on independence and emotions. I want children to feel safe and validated expressing their feelings and emotions while knowing how to help themselves when they are feeling their big feelings. With my own daughter I like to apply gentle/conscious parenting.
