Aloha families, I am Whitney Blando, alittle bit about myself is I was born and raised on Maui, was able to travel and experience life in a mainland teaching kids in different states for a year. I have been working with kids since my early teen years, but have made it a career for the past 7 years, I am a experienced Nanny, work along side Emmanuel Lutheran school as a after school counselor ages 6-13, A previous teacher assistant at Kahului Baptist preschool for 2 years and have helped tutor kids the year 2020 and 2021. I enjoy getting to know kids, there different personalities, hobbies, and what they like. Kids have big imaginations and have a lot of energy— being able to help them get that all out is something I strive to do I am very energetic and love to play-along side children, but also know how Read more to help focus a child when it’s time to work and when to put my foot down with when things get out of hand. I am patient when situations get out of control and understand kids need compassion. I am not a nanny who cleans the house for that is not something I provide, I can clean up messes I make and help children keep a clean area, I also am not one who prepares every meal.
