I have been babysitting and nannying since I was 12 years old and am currently 30. I spent ten years as a Montessori Assitant Teacher for toddler and preschool ages. I am now a lead teacher. Prior to that I worked in elementary and middle schools as a literacy instructor and an English language learner's tutor. I have worked with infants, toddlers, children and adolescents up to the age of 14. My biggest passion in life has always been working with children. Cooking, baking, yoga, being outdoors, nature, arts and crafts, music and reading are big parts of my life that I like to bring into the classroom and home environments. I have a genuine, outgoing, open-minded and passionate outlook on life which is why I work so well with children and people. I am basic conversational in French and have used baby sign language in homes and in the Read more classroom. I am happy to watch children at their home and take them on outings. I consider cleaning, running errands, and helping out to be part of the routine, so I am happy to help wherever I'm needed. Pets are also welcomed by me, as I am also an animal lover. I consider myself to be health conscious, am non-smoking, and enjoy eating healthy and being active. I am happy to help out with homework and tutoring, if desired.
