I love being a sitter because I enjoy building relationships with children and helping them learn and grow in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. Every child is unique, and I find it rewarding to engage with their personalities, encourage creativity, and be someone they feel comfortable and happy around. It brings me joy to know I can make a positive impact in a child’s day. I’ve volunteered at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, where I spent time interacting with young patients and helping create a comforting environment for them. Many children spent long hours waiting between appointments or treatments, and I helped keep them engaged through activities, games, and conversation. This experience taught me how to be patient, compassionate, and adaptable to each child’s unique needs and emotions. I’m responsible, caring, and attentive.
