Hi! My name is Hana Olhaye, and I’m a recent graduate with a B.A. in Sociology from the City College of New York, currently pursuing a career in early childhood education. I have over 10 years of childcare and pet care experience, beginning as a babysitter in my teens and transitioning into professional childcare in 2022. I spent two years working at a licensed daycare center, where I cared for both infants and toddlers. My responsibilities included feeding, diapering, facilitating early learning activities, and creating a safe, engaging environment tailored to each child’s needs. In addition to childcare, I’m a devoted pet owner and experienced pet sitter, caring for both cats and dogs. I provide walks, feeding, medication, and overnight care with attention and reliability. I genuinely enjoy working with animals and treat them with the same patience and care I bring to my childcare work. I also have a deep love for music and reading—two things I enjoy sharing with children. Whether it’s singing songs, story time, or dance breaks, I believe these moments help children learn, express themselves, and build strong connections.
