Hello! I’m a 25-year-old current master’s student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where I’m pursuing a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences. I hold three degrees: my first, a Bachelor of Arts earned through my high school program, my second, a Bachelor of Science from Howard University (2022), and now my master’s at UMiami as I work toward my goal of becoming an M.D. I have a true passion for caring for children and bring both medical and childcare experience to the table. I’ve worked in several healthcare roles, including in the ICU at Georgetown Washington Hospital Center, as an OBGYN medical assistant, and as a clinical allergist specialist, along with completing extensive research. With years of experience caring for little ones, I pride myself on creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. I’m CPR certified, detail-oriented, and very diligent in everything I do. I currently have open Read more availability and am excited to find a great family to work with. Let’s make babysitting an adventure together! :)

Asaya babysat for us this past September (2024) in downtown Washington DC for a couple of days. We first spoke with one of her references via telephone beforehand (as we have done any other time we've used sittercity) and they used words like "professional, reliable, caring, intelligent" and sure enough, they were spot on! Asaya came thru and babysat for our 15 month old son on very short notice, and was professional, prompt (arriving at least 15 min early each day), and very engaging. She kept the place clean, sang/danced with our son, read to him, fed him, played with him at the park, all of the above! Whenever we visit DC for work/conference again, we will be contacting Asaya! Thanks again for being there for us and for taking care of our son!

I recommend Asaya very highly. Most importantly, she talked and played with my children with kindness and inquisitive cheerfulness. She has transformed my home and helped with detailed cleaning, thoughtful organization, and care. She also clearly communicated her availability, came on time, and brought a wonderful warm energy to everything she helped with. I have been using her for weeks and she is everything I was looking for and more!

Asaya was very professional and responsive. We were able to quickly set up a phone interview and she made me feel comfortable. She made everything easy. As an anxious new mom I really appreciated that she sent me pictures and updates throughout the day. I felt at ease while I was away and I would definitely hire her again!
