I’m Rachel, a certified teacher with over 10 years of experience working with children from infancy through the elementary years. I hold degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, and I’m currently studying to become a speech-language pathologist (SLP)—a path that reflects my passion for supporting communication and connection in young learners. I love being a sitter because it allows me to build meaningful, one-on-one relationships with children and families. I bring a growth mindset to everything I do, helping children approach challenges with confidence and curiosity while celebrating their unique strengths. My experience includes classroom teaching, developmental support, and working with children with diverse learning needs. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, and I speak both English and Spanish fluently, which helps me connect with bilingual families and create inclusive, culturally responsive environments.
