I have always loved kids. I am the youngest of 7 children and used to refer to myself as a "professional aunt". I was a foster parent for a few years and eventually adopted two children as infants and have raised them as a single parent. After I retired from my job as a clerk with the county to be at home with my children, I began caring for an infant in my home & later his sibling also. My children are now 17 & 19 years old. I have in the past few years provided childcare for a couple of different homeschool co-ops. I have taken first aid & CPR in the past but do not have current certifications, but would gladly be recertified if requested. Throughout my years of being a foster parent as well as raising my own children, I have taken multiple parenting classes. I would Read more be willing to care for children in my home, your home, or a combination of both.
