Hi, I'm Ava! I am 23 years old, live in Raleigh, and currently go to Wake Tech. I've always loved working with kids- I started babysitting when I was 12 and started working at my local YMCA when I was 15 in the summer camp, after school, and child watch programs with children ranging from 6 months to 11 years in age. Additionally, I switched to nannying when I was 17. My typical duties included driving the kids to after school activities, taking them to the park, meal prep, light housework, and general care. I am very comfortable doing basic chores around the house (e. g. dishwashing, laundry, driving the kids places, and other activities) and I have my own car :) I'm also CPR and first aid certified! My current availability is evenings and weekends.

I used Ava very last minute over a weekend to watch my 2 and 3 yr old girls. She was communicative, asked good questions, and even showed up a little early to get the kids comfortable with her (my request). I was home the entire time and saw how she played with the kids and really engaged with them. Though my experience with Ava was brief (5 hours) I'd definitely use her again!

We had a great experience with Ava. She watched my girls, helped with schoolwork, read stories, gave piggyback rides, and straight-up taught my daughter how to do subtraction! She came over on time, she has a very calms presence, and she encourages sunscreen and hand washing. I highly recommend Ava.

Ava is awesome. My daughter loves when she comes over and talks about her all week. She has always showed up on time, it really fun for little ones to be around, is extremely patient and kind, and helps with whatever you need. Her school schedule has changed so we won't see her for a while but when her schedule is free, hopefully she'll come back.
