We feel so fortunate to have had Rosalba care for our daughter from the time she was a few months old through toddlerhood. She is warm, calm, and incredibly reliable. She is one of those rare caregivers who brings not just experience, but true intuition and heart into the job. Rosalba built a strong bond with our child from early on. She was creative and engaged, always finding developmentally appropriate activities that supported learning and growth, including helping her reach big milestones like walking. Our daughter seems ahead in many ways on her milestones, and we credit Rosalba’s patient, hands-on care. It was important to have someone experienced with babies as we were first time parents, and Rosalba demonstrated great familiarity and intuition when working with babies. Health and safety were clearly a priority for her. She followed all safe sleep guidelines, kept everything clean and hygienic, and notified us right away if she noticed anything concerning, even something as small as a mild rash or early cold/allergy symptoms. She taught our daughter to get off furniture safely and always washed her hands before meals or after going outside. Our child never had a diaper rash while under her care. She handled bathing so efficiently and kept all of our daughter’s spaces tidy. We learned a lot from her. She was also very responsive whenever we had new requests. She was also incredibly dependable. She was always on time, never called out last minute, and even came for extra time as needed. She kept our child busy and stimulated without any screen time, which was very important to us. She took her outdoors almost daily, often to the park, and always found creative ways to keep her active and engaged. She was very attentive to our daughter when working and never distracted by other tasks or phone. While Rosalba speaks primarily Spanish and we speak mostly English, communication was easy. We used English mostly but also translation apps when needed for more complex things, and she was always respectful and responsive. In fact, multiple extended family members, including grandparents who had nannies themselves in the past, commented on how professional, focused, and trustworthy she is. They repeatedly said she’s one of the best caregivers they’ve seen. Rosalba is now ready for another family as we are moving out of state and our daughter is ready for preschool. We trust Rosalba fully with our daughter’s care and are so grateful for the role she played in her early years. Rosalba will be a wonderful addition to any family lucky enough to work with her.

Where to begin? Over the last 2 years Rosalba has been a part of our family helping us raise our son. She came into our lives when I was ready to return to work and when our son was 4 months old. We interviewed many qualified candidates, but just couldn’t decide on one. We didn’t have a connection or “feeling” with any of the prospects. Then we met Rosalba. We immediately felt at ease, comfortable, and that we could trust her. As first-time parents it was extremely hard to leave our child with a "stranger”, but Rosalba brought us comfort- she was so kind, warm, motherly, trustworthy.. everything we imagined our son’s nanny should be. She has been with us full-time over the last 2 years and there is not one thing I would change about the care she provided. She has always gone above and beyond to provide a loving, safe, clean and educational environment for our little guy. It was bittersweet for us when it was time for preschool, but luckily, we still get to see her on occasional date nights, school closures etc if/when she is available. The transition to preschool has been seamless, many of his teachers comment on how well he has adjusted and what a great addition he has been. We believe Rosalba had a lot to do with that! We feel extremely fortunate to have had Rosalba care for our son and become a part of our family. She has been a blessing in our life!
