I am a soon-to-be medical school graduate pursuing a career in pediatric cardiology, and I have extensive experience working with children in both medical and educational settings. During my pediatric rotation, I gained hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, and adolescents in a clinical environment, learning how to communicate effectively and compassionately with both children and their families. I also worked as a tutor for high school students, where I developed skills in engaging and motivating kids with different personalities and learning styles. Outside of academic and medical settings, I’ve had meaningful childcare experience with my own family. Over the past year, I’ve regularly babysat my sister’s newborn, handling everything from feedings and diaper changes to naps and playtime. I also occasionally care for my cousins’ children, who are 3 and 7 years old.
