Hi! I’m a freshman at the College of Charleston studying Early Childhood Education with the goal of becoming a kindergarten teacher. I’ve always loved working with kids and enjoy creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment where they can be themselves, learn, and have fun! I have 4 years of experience as an overnight camp counselor, where I’ve worked with kids of different ages and planned activities, games, and crafts. During the school year, I also worked in after-school childcare at my local YMCA, primarily in the Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom. I also gained experience through student teaching in high school and had steady babysitting jobs with multiple families throughout last school year.
