My name is Nicole (Niki)! I am 26 years old and applying to graduate school programs for social work/clinical mental health counseling. I received my BA in Psychology with a Sociology Minor from Emory University. I grew up mostly in Westchester, NY, but spent my summers in Sweden, and I moved to FL in 2022 (where my parents ended up moving while I was in college). I started babysitting when I was 10 as a mother's helper and have been doing it ever since. A large part of the work I do in my field has also been with children. I have worked with children ranging from the classic baby/child down the street to severely behaviorally & emotionally challenged children in maximum-level residential treatment facilities (from the time when they wake up through putting them to bed). I have been certified in Safe Space, CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Prevention Institute, and Read more as a Sexual Assault Peer Advocate. I was one of the super energetic ADHD children to babysit when I was younger, so I promise I know how to and can keep up with any of yours :). I have the flexibility and time in my application process and I wanted to get back out there with some kids and continue saving up for school :). Please don't hesitate to reach out! :)
