Hello! My name is Zoe Kirchner. I am nineteen years old and I am a freshman at Fort Lewis College. I recently moved to Durango from my hometown of Steamboat Springs where I grew up exploring the rocky mountains and shredding the slopes. Along with the outdoors, I have always had a passion for children. When I was growing up, I was always extremely interested in the idea and process of taking care of other beings. I started working as a "Mother's Assistant" when I was twelve years old and I have been caring for children and animals for six years. I have worked at the Boy's and Girls Club of Steamboat Springs for four years now and I absolutely love my job and all the children I work with. I am currently studying Psychology, Spanish and Child Development and someday I hope to become a teacher or work with kids in some way. I am very familiar with the impressionability of children and I understand the importance of strong role models.
