I worked as a nanny for two years as a young girl with an agency in Van Nuys, Ca. I was also a preschool teacher and assistant. I did Foster care for the county of Kern of 6 years will I also did babysitting for two little girls for over a year for a mother going through a divorce, so girls would at time spend the night over because mother was over whelmed. Maya was our son's nanny for 4 months starting when he was 13 months old. We moved out of the state and had to part ways, but would still be working with her otherwise. She is caring, kind, loving, professional, and fun! She has tons of relevant experience as a caretaker, is respectful of our routines and parenting style, and is a great communicator. We gave her the nickname of “Maya Poppins”…she does it all! Our son’s face would light up when she walked through the door, and he would get sad to see her leave at the end of the day. They became very close and it was comforting to know that our son was being cared for by someone who genuinely loved him and wanted the best for him. Maya became a part of our family and we are grateful to have known and worked with her.
