Hello I’m McKenzie! I reside in MS, but is very much wanting and willing to move out of state for the right family. I can’t honestly say why taking care of children is an interest because it’s a natural calling. Especially being the oldest of 4 and the oldest grandchild of 8 taken care of the younger ones was a duty. Other than relatives children have always drawn to me and that was noticed, so in high school I received my first sitter job. Eventually I gained opportunities, but after 4 years I needed more consistency. After graduating I landed one of my first jobs as a daycare/ toddler teacher. I absolutely loved it! Having these experiences helped me understand what it takes dealing with children; having patience, great communication, emotional intelligence, engagement, and compassion. These skills sound great, but they have much more meaning and value. Bringing meaning and Read more value to little lives is so important and having the right person is even more essential.
