Hi! My name is Darby Ratliff. I’m a college student at the University of South Carolina studying early childhood education, and I absolutely love working with kids. I’ve spent the past three years working at a summer camp and currently work as an after-school counselor for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Through these experiences, I’ve gotten really comfortable helping with homework, planning fun activities, and making sure kids feel safe and supported. I’m used to working with a wide range of ages and personalities, and I’ve learned to stay patient, handle conflicts, and keep things fun while remaining responsible. Since I’m studying to become an elementary school teacher, I really care about creating a positive environment where kids can learn, play, and feel comfortable being themselves.
