Hello! I am excited to be brand new to Ann Arbor and connect with families in the community. I recently earned my dual BA in Social Work and Sociology and bring nearly 8 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. Most recently, I was a preschool teacher supporting young children with mental health and behavioral challenges, where I helped the practice emotional regulation, communication, and social skills. Prior to that, I worked as a nanny for three years, caring for three elementary-aged children. I picked them up from school, supported them with schoolwork and after school activities, and maintained a safe and clean and home environment. I have also taught swim lessons and coached both swim and water polo teams. I am passionate about creating a nurturing and fun environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. I love to be a positive role-model and support Read more system for kids. I am confident in my ability to be a supportive and dependable caretaker. In addition to childcare, I'm happy to help with pets, and I hold First Aid and CPR certifications. I'm fluent in Portuguese, proficient in Spanish, and I know some basic French as well! I look forward to getting to know the families of Ann Arbor!
