I have eight years experience in child care. I am proud to say I have been taking care of my five grandchildren Monday thru Friday and other children (as needed basis) about the same age as my grandchildren. Their ages are 13, 9, 8, 7, 5 and 3 as well as a four year old since birth as well as my grandchild. I do drop-offs and pick-up sto and from school, also drive them to sport activities/practices, cook meals and prepare snacks for them. When on school vacation we do field trips to the aquarium, the park, movies and bowling. Babysitting is a challenge bit a gratifying challenge. I learn so much from them. Children are very smart, if we as adults learn how to explore their ideas and creation along with their imagination.

My family and I traveled from the East coast for a wedding in Monterey. Carmen took care of our 2 little boys (2 and 4 years old) for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding. From the moment we met I felt relieved and reassured that they were in good hands. Carmen is warm, smart, engaging, and even brought a game for them to play. She knows just how to interact with young children and immediately made us feel at ease. On the second night my oldest son, when given the choice to stay at the wedding with his cousins or go back to the hotel with Carmen and his brother, decided to go back with Carmen! That is a true testament to how wonderful she is. I only wished she lived closer to us. Thanks again Carmen!!!!
