I absolutely love babysitting because it combines my high energy with my passion for supporting families and helping kids thrive. Whether we are playing games, staying active outside, or winding down with a favorite story, I see a lot of value in earning a kids trust and helping them have joy in their childhood because it truly does fly by. I genuinely enjoy the unique personality of every child and love being a positive, reliable mentor they look forward to seeing. - I am entering my junior year as a track/ xc athlete and nursing student at the University of Portland (aiming for a potential career in pediatrics!) - CPR certified, competent in managing dietary needs/ allergies, etc - positive attitude, open to tasks around the house -thorough and make it a point to aim to leave things better than I found them, taking care of light cleaning and organizing Read more so you can come home to a relaxing space. - have been babysitting since I was 14 for younger cousins and a variety of families. - experience managing multiple children at once, keeping up with high-energy schedules, and handling bedtime/mealtime routines. - comfortable with animals (have worked for Rover dog walking as well) and have usually babysat for families with pets. - calm under pressure and observant. If child is escalating or injured I have experience being able to say composed, triage needs, and contact parents/ other resources.
