My name is Shawn.I am 51 years old.I love children I have been babysitting and have also been a foster parent. Children are pure and I love that I am a Christian so I have Christian values that plays a great role in my life. I have taken care of numerous children and they all fall in love with me. I love them like a parent would I give them their space and I let them explore. I feel that children should have fun and enjoy themselves. They should be able to come to you for any and everything nothing is too bad. I make it fun when training giving them praise for their accomplishments. I have kept newborns, twins, toddlers, school aged, and teens. I co owned a youth center called Millennium Zepic where there were several teenagers that would just come in to be themselves they talked they Read more showed their talents through music and art. The children are now adults these adults still call me when they have a problem or just want to talk some feel it's because of me they are here today and they are so thankful. I feel this is what life is about showing love to people as a whole,but especially to children it will make them successful adults. Love is what matters today and not in just words. People have to feel that genuine love and care it's essential for life. Children act out on impulse, they are needing something at that time whether it's missing a parent a special toy or whatever it may be they (we)want what we want at that moment. Sometimes it's no but in reason this is why I love children because they ask questions and as an adult we have to have answers.. I am more than a sitter when I have anyone in my care I'm who they are missing I'm that person that soothes children treat them as my own play with them care for them ,teach them. I'm a parent and I know how it is to be away from your child and want the best care for them. Right now through the week I keep at my home 2 ten month old babies a boy and a girl ,a three year old, a set of twins that I always kept since birth they are now 10 and I occasionally keep a 5 year old when she's with her dad on breaks and through the holidays and summer. I love it and I love children I have worked in daycares over the years 5 star daycares, home daycares, and my own daycare and overnight care. Hope you consider me to keep your loved ones they would be in the best of care. I do cook and clean and have snacks and just have fun. I love taking kids to the park and just enjoying life.
