Hi, I’m Gloria! I recently transitioned out of the tech sector after a layoff, and I’m excited to spend more time doing something I’ve always loved: helping kids grow into their full potential. Earlier in my career, I spent several years working with children of all ages across a variety of settings, and infants were always where my heart was. I spent about a year as a live-in nanny for a baby girl, starting when she was 3 months old and staying with her through 11 months — it was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. I also cared for another infant, a 3-month-old, on a regular basis, and worked with a family with a 1-year-old and a kindergartener, handling morning school drop-offs, lunch prep, daily activities, and enrichment for the younger one, like library trips and socialization time.
