Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy spending time with kids and helping them learn, grow, and feel safe. Being part of their day—whether that’s playing games, helping with homework, or just making them laugh—is really rewarding to me. As a nursing student, I also care deeply about supporting others and creating a safe, positive environment. I love knowing that I can help children feel comfortable and cared for while giving parents peace of mind. What experience do you have? I have experience caring for children through babysitting as well as experience working in healthcare while in nursing school. My nursing background has given me experience monitoring safety, staying attentive, and responding calmly in different situations. I’m used to being responsible for others’ well-being, which helps me provide attentive and reliable care for kids. What skills and training do you have? Read more Through my nursing education and healthcare experience, I’ve developed strong skills in communication, patience, and safety awareness. I’m trained to stay calm in stressful situations, pay close attention to details, and make sure those in my care are safe and comfortable. My nursing background also helps me recognize when something may not be right and respond appropriately, which is an extra level of reassurance when caring for children. I’m responsible, compassionate, and focused on creating a fun and safe environment.
